What to include

Make the report actionable.

  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened.
  • What you expected to happen.
  • Whether it involved open tabs, duplicates, saved items, pinned tabs, or Archive.
  • Your Chrome version and operating system if known.

Focus on real workflow friction.

  • Bug: something is broken or behaving incorrectly.
  • Confusing behavior: something worked, but the result was unclear.
  • Missing workflow: SignalTabs almost fits your workflow, but one step is missing.
Before you submit

A quick sanity check helps.

  • Confirm SignalTabs is updated to the latest version.
  • Try opening a fresh new tab page.
  • Check whether the behavior happens in one Chrome window or across multiple windows.
Sensitive data

Only send what you are comfortable sharing.

Do not submit passwords, cookies, tokens, private page content, or anything you would not want reviewed. SignalTabs is local-first, but support reports contain what you choose to type into the form.
